Bannu suicide blast kills three

PESHAWAR: A suicide bomber killed three people and injured 10 others when he blew himself up in Bannu city on Tuesday, police and locals said. Bannu District Police Officer (DPO) Dar Ali Khattak said the suicide bomber, who was riding on a three-wheeler Chinese rickshaw, blew himself up near a police barricade in the New Pul area at around 9:30am when police tried to stop him. The rickshaw was heading towards the Sorani area. The dead include a policeman the injured include five policemen, a woman and a girl, Khattak told Daily Times by telephone.
